#Reds lose 6-1 (Photos and Highlights)

Cincinnati Reds lost another one to the Dodgers tonight, 6-1. It was a little tougher to watch this game then last night’s. There were some sloppy plays in the field and guys were struggling at the plate too. Not to mention some scary moments when Zach Cozart (1-3) got hit in the head by a pitch and Devin Mesoraco (2-4) looked like he pulled something while running to first. Billy Hamilton went 2 for 5. Joey Votto (1-3) is back and hopefully that will get the team hitting again very soon.

The Green Monster got the best of the #Reds in game one

Cincinnati Reds lost in extra innings tonight to Boston Red Sox when LF Grady Sizemore (3 for 6) hit a ball off the Green Monster, scoring DH David Ortiz. (2 for 4)

Reds RHP Homer Bailey went 6 innings giving up 5 hits, 3 earned runs with 5 walks and 5 strike outs. J.J. Hoover then came in and pitched 1.1 IP giving up only one hit and striking out one. Manny Parra came in for 1 IP and struck out two. Sam LeCure pitched 1.2 IP and walked two and gave up one hit. The Logan Ondrusek came in for 1 IP and gave up four hits with one run getting the loss in the 12th inning.

It was a great game and at some points in the game it looked liked the Red Sox were out playing the Reds but they just kept getting the plays needed to keep in it. This game could have gone either way, even with SS Zach Cozart (2 for 5) not running in the 9th inning off a bunt hit by RF Chris Heisey. (1 for 6)
