#Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart vs pitchers 2014
Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is starting to become one of my favorite players to watch on the Reds this season. The kid is already being named RHP Homer Bailey’s main catcher and he is a lot of fun to watch hit. Of course once Devin Mesoraco comes back off the dl, Barnhart will be sent down to AAA but he is a great option to have just in case something happens to Mesoraco again. And of course, Brayan Pena is doing great also both as a catcher and a hitter.
Tucker Barnhart has only played a few games this season but I thought I would share stats on what pitchers he has faced and what he has done against them. I am looking forward to seeing what this kid can do in a full season with the Reds. He actually looks more comfortable behind the plate then Devin Mesoraco does. And I can tell he is a lot more focused during the game too.
